After a couple of really grueling sessions, we are excited to announce this year’s First Round of speakers.
It. Was. Tough.
This year, we were excited (and surprised) to see the diverse nature of the speaker submission topics. It may be the widest variety of topics we’ve seen at a Milwaukee WordCamp. And while that’s really awesome, it does make it a bit of a challenge to find where we they fit so that there is some sort of flow. But, after a lot of work from our volunteers, we put together a group of really great speakers and we can’t wait for WordCamp Milwaukee, 2016!
So, without any further adieu, here is the list of speakers, Round One (in no particular order, other than alphabetical). . .
Joshua Alexander: “Marketing for the Antisocial”
Dan Beil: “So You Think You Can Scale”
Josh Broton: “WordPress + React: A Match Made in Heaven”
Brad Hull: “Relaunching Your Website”
Elliot Christenson: “Giving Clients What They Need – Not What They Want”
Matthew Clancy: “Shifting the Mindset of Customer Support for WordPress”
Ryan Erwin: “How to Conduct an SEO and Content Audit”
Matthew Green: “Creating a WordPress Site From Scratch”
Steve Heuser: “Making a List and Checking it Twice!”
Aaron Holbrook: “Improving WordPress Search”
Josh Horneck: “Editors Are Users Too”
Kiera Howe: “WP-CLI: Automating Your WordPress”
Davo Hynds: “Componentizer: A tiny MVC for Components”
Mike McCallister: “Learning From the WordPress Sites”
That’s the First Round. Second Round coming tomorrow. Look for speaker spotlights over the next few days. And if you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, be sure to get them soon so we can get your T-Shirt size! This year’s T-Shirts are going to rock!
Great set of topics, Mark! Looking forward to attending #WC-MKE in 2 weeks.
