While my weapon of choice is Drupal, the same concepts apply to WordPress. Content Authors and Site “Owners” think they want the ability to go under the hood to do whatever repairs they want.
That makes about as much sense for most people as changing their own tires or their own oil – much less trying to do engine repairs.
