We will attempt to work with the venue to provide discounted all-day parking for WordCamp Milwaukee attendees in the Grand Avenue Mall Parking Structure. This structure is located on Plankinton and Michigan.<\/p>\n<p><em>When entering the structure, get a regular parking ticket. Bring the ticket with you to WordCamp so we can validate for the reduced parking fare. There are also various other parking structures nearby and metered street parking. It is recommended to use the mall parking structure.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>TRANSPORTATION<\/h2>\n<h3>By air<\/h3>\n<p>If you are traveling from out of town, Milwaukee is served by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mitchellairport.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gen. Mitchell International Airport<\/a>. The airport is about 7.5 miles from downtown Milwaukee. Information about transportation from the airport can be found\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mitchellairport.com\/ground-transportation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>By rail<\/h3>\n<p>Milwaukee is also served by the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amtrakhiawatha.com\/\">Amtrak Hiawatha Line<\/a>\u00a0which has stops both at the airport and in downtown Milwaukee \u2013 just blocks from the venue.
