WordCamp Milwaukee 2018 will once again be held at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education ( 161 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203 ), which is located on the 7th floor of the Grand Avenue mall in downtown Milwaukee.
The UWM SoCE is located in downtown Milwaukee at Southwest corner of West Wisconsin Ave and North Plankinton Ave in on the top two floors of the Grand Avenue Mall, right above TJ Maxx.

PARKING
Plenty of parking will be available in the Grand Avenue Mall Parking Structure. We will attempt to work with the venue to provide discounted all-day parking for WordCamp Milwaukee attendees in the Grand Avenue Mall Parking Structure. This structure is located on Plankinton and Michigan.
When entering the structure, get a regular parking ticket. Bring the ticket with you to WordCamp so we can validate for the reduced parking fare. There are also various other parking structures nearby and metered street parking. It is recommended to use the mall parking structure.
TRANSPORTATION
By air
If you are traveling from out of town, Milwaukee is served by Gen. Mitchell International Airport. The airport is about 7.5 miles from downtown Milwaukee. Information about transportation from the airport can be found here.
By rail
Milwaukee is also served by the Amtrak Hiawatha Line which has stops both at the airport and in downtown Milwaukee – just blocks from the venue. This is a great option for those traveling from Chicago or other Amtrak stops and it now includes WiFi.
